2026 MDDA National Family Retreat

Sanctuary Cove, Queensland

13th - 15th November, 2026

BONUS DAY: Family Funpark Extension Day

Not quite ready for the retreat to end? Neither are we.

We’re exploring an optional BONUS day on Monday 16th, a chance to extend the fun with a relaxed, joy-filled day at one of the GoldCoast theme parks. Think rides, laughter, connection and a chance to spend a little more time together before heading home.

What’s the plan?

If there’s enough interest from attendees, MDDA will coordinate the day to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. This will include organising group transport to and from the park, securing entry tickets, and providing low-pro snacks so everyone can enjoy the experience.

What you need to know:

This is an optional add-on day and will go ahead only if there is sufficient interest

All costs are self-funded, including:

Theme park entry tickets

Transport costs (if group transfers are arranged)

Accommodation (you will likely need to book an additional night or two)

Meals throughout the day

Final details (timing, logistics, transport and any airport transfers) are still to be confirmed

We will also coordinate a return shuttle to the airport following the bonus day, depending on interest

Why join?

Because sometimes the best moments happen in the in-between, the extra conversations, shared laughs, and memories that come from just a little more time together.

Register your interest

We’d love to know if you’re keen! This will help us determine whether we can bring the day to life and lock in arrangements for the group.

👉 Let us know you’re interested when registering.
